The SH7619 is the first Renesas microprocessor to offer an on-chip MAC and PHY transceiver in a single chip. These features simplify the development of Ethernet functionality, and reduces the number of component parts required. The SH2 CPU core enables high-speed execution of TCP/IP and similar protocol processing, and the implementation of high-performance systems.

The SH7619 Evaluation Board, available through TrygTech, is the perfect system for evaluating the processor. With support for the .NET Micro Framework, you can quickly develop an embedded system that is smart, securely connected and easy to manage.

• The Microsoft supplied Porting Kit supports NativeSample and TinyCLR projects. TrygTech has added support for TinyBooter - a small executable used for simplified deployments.
